University of the Arts London, formerly the London Institute, is in a unique position to champion art, design and communications in further and higher education and their myriad contributions internationally. It is located in the UK - considered to be a world capital of style, design, media, fashion - is the largest, and most comprehensive university of the arts in Europe.

University of the Arts London is a federal institution incorporating six of the world's most celebrated colleges of art, design and communications: Camberwell College of Arts, Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, Chelsea College of Art, London College of Fashion, London College of Communication and Wimbledon College of Art. The University of the Arts London was established in 1986 to promote and enhance the strengths and distinctive character of those Colleges. The University of the Arts offers courses to more than 24,000 students extending from Access and first Diploma through to BA, MA and PhD with excellent teaching quality.

 Accommodation

• Guaranteed accommodation for all single, first year undergraduate students in university residences.       
• There are 11 main residential sites throughout London, providing bedspaces for 1820 students.
• Students can choose from: standard or en-suite study bedrooms; catered or self-catered halls.
• Accommodation costs for 1 year (minimum 42 weeks) starts at £62 per week to £115.50 per week.
• The Housing Department can also provide students with a list of private sector accommodation should students choose not to stay in university residences.
